Research continues to show single-vendor SASE platforms lead the way for solution providers when it comes to growth, making Fortinet a go-to for the channel in delivery of secure networks amid a market undergoing fast and furious change.
Gartner has named Fortinet as a leader in its 2025 Magic Quadrant for SASE platforms and has ranked Fortinet #1 in the Secure Branch Network Modernization use case in the accompanying Gartner Critical Capabilities for SASE Platforms.
“We are honored to be recognized as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SASE Platforms and believe this recognition validates our commitment to organic innovation—building a unified, AI-powered platform that spans all SASE use cases,” said Nirav Shah, Senior Vice President of Products and Solutions at Fortinet, in a statement.
“We believe being positioned in the Leaders quadrant in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SASE Platforms affirms our strategy of blending proven secure SD‑WAN, universal ZTNA, and AI‑powered threat protection under a single operating system, FortiOS, and one license for added simplicity and faster ROI,” Shah said.
Burst of growth in single-vendor SASE market
The timing aligns with a new burst of growth in single-vendor SASE. According to research from Gartner, SASE is anticipated to exceed $28.5 billion by 2028.
And in another area where Fortinet has shown significant strength with solution providers, SD-WAN solutions grew by 24% between 2023 to 2024, according to Gartner.
Fortinet’s recognition as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SASE Platforms highlights its rapid advancement and strong execution in a market projected to reach $29 billion by 2030.
Unmatched flexibility
Its Unified SASE solution, powered by FortiOS, delivers AI-driven security, simplified deployment, and unmatched flexibility—earning top rankings in Secure Branch Network Modernization and consistent customer praise across SD-WAN, SSE, and ZTNA.
Fortinet pioneered the convergence of networking and cybersecurity, and the latest designations build on that. The Unified SASE solution is designed to simplify IT operations, strengthen network resilience, and deliver a smoother, more secure and more efficient experience for users across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
While continuing its leadership, Fortinet has grown its SASE platforms to include GenAI-powered automation, built-in robust ZTNA and addressed growing complexity by easing rollout and simplifying the real-time view of security and network performance.
