For the second year in a row, cybersecurity leaders interviewed for the Fortinet 2023 Global Ransomware Report said their top challenge in preventing attacks was the growing sophistication of the threat landscape.

Based on interviews with hundreds of cybersecurity professionals from 31 different locations around the world, the Fortinet report found that the global threat of ransomware remains at peak levels.

Most companies are putting their money where their mouth is, with 60 percent planning to increase their cloud security budgets.

As many of their employees spend at least part of their week working off-premises, your clients’ networks and attack surfaces expand.

Your clients have become increasingly dependent on cloud applications to do their jobs and serve their customers. However, as they continue to add new applications, they also expand their networks and attack surfaces.

A security fabric wraps individual attack surfaces under a larger mesh, eliminating the headaches and limitations of point-based security products.

While these accolades are nice, actions are what matter. Fortinet recently released its 2022 Sustainability Report, outlining its continued commitment to sustainability.
