The Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) market is hitting new heights - projected to continue double-digit growth year over year as organizations become more complex while flocking in growing numbers toward converged networking and cybersecurity solutions.

The list of new demands on business - such as rolling out GenAI, tightening security, merging IT and OT environments, and adapting to new work models - appears ever-expanding. All of that plays to the strengths of Fortinet and the results are now clear.

Fortinet Is Showing Momentum

Research firm 650 Group says Fortinet is now the second-most deployed SASE vendor globally - as Fortinet reports 26-percent year-over-year growth in annual recurring revenue.

Another research firm, the Dell’Oro Group, found that AI and branch modernization are also driving strong growth in SASE, SSE and SD-WAN deployments - and found that single-vendor solutions are driving much of the growth.

With that in mind, Fortinet’s success should come as no surprise, given its years of pioneering the pairing of networking and security with multi-layered technology under its banner.

Fortinet’s investments in robust SASE, SSE and SD-WAN solutions over the past two years means it’s not standing still.

A Winning Formula

“Our strategy of blending proven secure SD‑WAN, universal ZTNA, and AI‑powered threat protection under a single operating system, FortiOS, and one license for added simplicity and faster ROI is being validated by both customers and analysts,” said Nirav Shah, Senior Vice President of Products and Solutions at Fortinet.

A key part of Fortinet’s lineup is also FortiSASE, a scalable, cloud-based service that converges networking and security with a built-in gateway, firewall and Zero Trust architecture. All are built to seamlessly work with each other.

“In addition to organic growth within our loyal installed base, we’re seeing a rising number of organizations transitioning away from incumbent security service edge (SSE) vendors they adopted just a few years ago,” Shah added. “We believe this shift reflects growing recognition of our unified approach to networking and security, particularly our ability to drive better security efficacy, simplified operations, and lower total cost of ownership.”

With the market clearly shifting to unified SASE, and Fortinet’s role as a leader, solution providers seeking to become a partner in its Engage Program can find more information here.
